DATA GOD OF CULTURE & INNOVATION

Ben Ferry

Ben Ferry is from North East England, but moved to Germany back in 2006 just before the World Cup. Ben studied History and Politics, so a far cry from what he now does for a career. Ben began with Power BI whilst working in controlling and whilst searching for a better way he opened Power Query and fell down the rabbit hole.

DATA GOD QUALIFICATIONS

Ben's YouTube channel is filled with new ways to look at and think about solving problems while using Power BI as a front end.

You can't score a goal if you don't take a shot.

Johan Cruijff

Ben enjoys experimenting with different ways to visualize data, often telling people that data deserves beautiful dashboards. My main and constant project is my Fantasy Football (soccer) report, which I use for most of the videos I make in my YouTube Channel.

Power Automate visualisation in Power BI - YouTube

Utilise the new Power Automate button in Power BI and make your reports an actionable part of the workflow. Add or remove data from your data sources, refresh your dataset and so much more.

DATA GOD FUN FACT

A fun fact (or at least mildly interesting maybe) is that Ben also run a Berlin-based amateur football website/magazine/vlog, ‘Bloody Hell Magazine’, so if you want to see some wildly different content from me, feel free to check that out!
