Halil is an industrial engineer and spent his +20 years in different manufacturing companies as a supply chain and operations manager.
Back in 2011, he met with PowerPivot and then PowerBI. From day one, he utilized these tools to solve his own business problems
and fell in love with them! That love made a radical change in his life and he started a new career after 45 years-old age.

He's been sharing his knowledge on his blog site PowerBI.Istanbul since 2017 and has been a Microsoft Data Platform MVP since 2019.
Halil is also the founder of PowerBI Turkey User Group, where he meets regularly with other valuable people and talks about Power BI and all data related Microsoft services on Azure.

Halil is a master checkers player having toured most of Europe and North America playing checkers on the master's circuit.
