Clouds are everchanging, adaptable, seemingly unpredictable. Their patterns can shift from overwhelming, messy, and complex to magnificent and elegant. Taming the untamable data and systems, not through brute force, but gentle coercion, is what Mathias does best and makes him the Data God of the Clouds. He is an experienced change manager with a huge passion for lifting data architectures to the cloud to make them more nimble, elegant, and agile. His mindset is innovative, flexible, and at times overly intricate.
Mathias has his heads in the clouds with all that entails.
It is better to try something and fail than to try nothing and succeed. The result may be the same, but you won't be. We always grow more through defeats than victories.

With his diverse background in Product Development & Innovation, Mathias approaches analytical needs with a distinct pragmatism. For him, technologies are tools to achieve a higher purpose - business value. The current tools in his toolbox include Microsoft SQL, Azure, Power BI, and a bit of Python.
Mathias often finds himself taking several steps back to focus on the bigger picture, and with his slightly rebellious attitude, he will much rather try to break the rules, norms, and industry standards than follow them blindly.

Aside from Azure, Mathias has touched the actual clouds on several occasions; through skydiving and piloting. Coincidentally, his favorite lampshades are those that appear to be fluff like little clouds in his home.
